How to play

  1. Each row is one member's entry in the society's water-damaged record book: the month, the day, the hour on a 24-hour clock, and the minute.
  2. Tap a box and then tap a number, or drag the number in. Every number is used exactly once.
  3. The tags beside each row and above each column are the steps from one box to the next, listed in scrambled order. A dashed ? is a step that was lost, and the striped gap on the board shows where it belongs.
  4. A step turns green when the numbers either side of it fit a tag, and red when they cannot, which costs a strike. Green means the arithmetic works, not that the number is home.
  5. The earliest entry takes the society's first honors, so the order of the four entries is the whole point.

A new case opens every day, easiest on Monday and hardest on Sunday. Later in the week more steps are missing and fewer boxes start filled in.
